INDIAN FAIR & MARKET POSTERS
The commemorative poster pictured on the page photo above, created for the 50th anniversary Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair & Market by Minnesota Chippewa artist David Bradley is aptly and historically titled “THE TRADITION LIVES ON”. It contains images of the art world from the early 20th century on to today and clearly illustrates the effect that artists have had and continue to have on each other.
This classic piece is still available for sale at $15.
This year, 2009 Indian Fair & Market has chosen Santa Clara artist Nora Naranjo Morse to be the honored Fair artist. Her poster is pictured below.

Ms Morse is not only an artist, but also a potter, poet and filmmaker, as well as being a woman, wife and mother! She will be present at the Market and available for all to meet and would be happy to sign any of the wonderful Fair merchandise which contains images of a variety of her works. The poster image entitled, “THE BIRD IS TRANSFORMED WHEN SHE COMES HOME”, is a multi media work of art created of wood, clay and paint. It shows the great breadth of Nora’s talents.
The poster image is approximately 12X17 and will be sold for $15.
Both of these posters will be available for sale beginning Friday evening March 6, 2009 at the Best of Show evening and during the weekend of the Fair, March 7 & 8.
This year we will also have several other classic posters available for sale during the Fair.
