
Guild Travel Opportunities
The Heard Museum Guild promotes travel opportunities for Guild and Museum members. A Guild Trip is a journey to an event, an interesting site, or a scenic location. A Guild Tour adds an educational dimension by providing an interpretive “tour guide” for the journey.
Guild Tours
Recent tours included visits to Mata Ortiz, Silver City and Chaco Canyon, Oaxaca , The Colonial Cities of Mexico.
Future Excursions
Upcoming travel opportunities include:
- Guild trip to Moenkopi on the Hopi reservation. $860 pp double occupancy, add $250 for single.

The Heard Museum Guild is offering their fall 2010 trip. Four days/three nights to Moenkopi, on the Hopi reservation. We will be staying at the new Legacy Inn. We will include visits to artists in their homes, museums, dances, a look at Hopi agricultural practices, both traditional and contemporary, a meal at a Hopi home, lectures, and trading posts. We will have a Hopi Guide accompany us.
