Note Card Volunteers

The Note Card Committee keeps its members busy throughout the year, selling cards, filling orders, and drumming up business. We can use salespeople, volunteers with marketing and advertising expertise, in addition to anyone who wants to have a good time and work on a worthwhile project.

We choose the images that are reproduced on the cards from among the artwork submitted at the Guild’s annual American Indian Student Art Show & Sale. Guild volunteers sell the cards at most of the Museum events; the main wholesale customers for the cards are the Heard Museum Shop and the Smithsonian Institution, but they are also sold throughout the Southwest in museums, galleries, and shops. The sale of the Note Cards funds the Guild’s scholarships to American Indian students and grants to art teachers whose students enter the Student Art Show.
