Aaron White (Navao/Ute) is a singer, songwriter, composer, and musician of flute and guitar. His heritage and his flutes tether to the ancient Navajo and Ute cultures, but he grew up in urban California so he plays a mean guitar. Aaron’s group, Burning Sky, won Group of the Year at the 2003 Native American Music Awards (NAMMY’S).

Best of Show Drawing, 7:15 p.m.
Four outstanding ceramic pieces are in this year’s BOS Drawing. We are grateful to those who donated and facilitated the acquisition of these pieces. The artists are Jaycee Nahohai (Zuni), James Garcia (Hopi) whose grandmother was Nampeyo, Susan Folwell (Santa Clara), and Britney Eustace (Zuni). High School senior Eustace entered her piece “Hopi Parrot Bowl” in the 2015 Student Art Show & Sale. We offer this pot to demonstrate the continuing tradition in pottery making and hope that you will join us at this year’s Student Art Show & Sale on April 1 for Museum Members and open to the public free April 2-4. Learn more about these four pieces by clicking here.
You do not need to be present to win but we hope you will join us for the evening. Purchase tickets for the Best of Show Drawing here.
Silent Auction, first closing 7:30 p.m., second closing 7:45 p.m.
The Silent Auction offers primarily pieces of art donated by the prior year’s award-winning Fair artists. Come back closer to the Fair date to preview a few of the Silent Auction offerings. Click here to view the list of 2015 artists who contributed to Silent Auction.
