2024 Youth Art & Show Best of Show Winner List
We invite American Indian students in grades 7-12 to submit their finest original artwork to be judged by a professional panel, compete for ribbons and over $10,000 in cash awards, and be sold to the public! Students from tribes across the U.S. have participated in this show and sale since 1986. Young artists can submit any form of traditional and fine art – pottery, baskets, jewelry, beadwork, weavings, katsinas, paintings, and sculpture, as well as unique contemporary works in creative media. The Youth Art Show and Sale has awarded more than half a million dollars to young artists during the years the show has been held.
New for 2024:
- Prize money has been increased significantly to over $10,000.
- New online pre-registration and submission forms will make it easier for both individual young artists and teachers to submit entries.
- New publicity and signage will increase the number of visitors to the Show and Sale, while new display panels will show the artwork to its best advantage.
There is no application or booth fee for YASS entrants. After judging, artists’ work will be displayed and sold in the Monte Vista Room of the Heard Museum during the Indian Fair and Market on March 2-3, 2024, in Phoenix, AZ.
The pages in this section of our website provide all the details and forms to assist you in preparing and submitting entries for YASS. Review all the information in “Student and Teacher Quick Links” on the right side of this page.
